Clinical Nutrition: Academic Programs

Two programs, which have a common core of courses, lead to a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition.

Combined Master's Degree/Dietetic Internship
The combined MS/ Dietetic Internship program is a 21 month program that integrates didactic and practicum experience. All students complete a thesis research project. Upon completion of the program the student earns a Master of Science degree with a major in Clinical Nutrition and is eligible to take the Registration Examination for Dietitians.

The dietetic internship is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education, the credentialing agency of the American Dietetic Association. Contact information:

Master's Degree for Registered Dietitians
The MS Degree program for the Registered Dietitians is a program for those who hold the RD credential and wish to expand their understanding of advanced human nutrition and medical nutrition therapy through critical evaluation, integration and application of nutrition and management research. All students complete a thesis research project.
